Valve type, number and location must follow the specific system design. Adding more valves is not a general solution to water hammer.

Confirm this for the exact model and version. A series photograph does not establish the internal valve arrangement.
Can an adaptor fix any connection mismatch?
No. The standard, dimensions, pressure conditions and material suitability all need review.
Do more check valves make an installation safer?
Their type, number and position depend on the installation design and the relevant product instructions.
Are all sizes available from stock?
Ask for the exact specification and quantity. Availability and lead time are confirmed in the quotation.
